Anti-Impersonation Policy
How to verify genuine contact from FraudGuard, what we will never ask for, and how to report anyone impersonating our organization or staff.
We never ask for credentials. We will never ask for your passwords, PINs, one-time codes, seed phrases, private keys, full card numbers or remote access to your devices. Anyone who does is not acting on our behalf. Read our Anti-Impersonation Policy.

Why this policy exists
Organizations that help fraud victims are routinely impersonated, because victim lists are traded and a familiar name lowers a target's guard. This policy sets out exactly how FraudGuard Recovery & Cyber Safety behaves, so any deviation is a warning sign.
What we will never do
- We will never ask for your passwords, PINs, one-time codes, seed phrases, private keys, full card numbers or remote access to your devices.
- We will never request remote access to your device
- We will never guarantee recovery of your funds
- We will never demand an upfront payment to 'release', 'unlock' or 'clear' a balance
- We will never ask you to pay in cryptocurrency, gift cards or to a personal account
- We will never claim to be police, a court, a regulator, a bank or a government agency
- We will never contact you unsolicited claiming we have located your money
How to verify genuine contact
- Check the sender address against the contact details published on this website
- Do not trust phone numbers, links or documents supplied inside a suspicious message
- Contact us using the address on our contact page and ask us to confirm the communication
- Ask for your case reference; a genuine reviewer working on your case will have it in our system
Reporting impersonation
Do not engage further, do not send any payment, and do not share credentials while you verify.
- Email support@fraudguard-recovery.example with the full message, including headers where available
- Include the sender details, phone numbers, websites and payment details used
- Report the approach to the official fraud reporting body for your country
- Report the account or advert to the platform that hosted it
Our response
We record reports of impersonation, publish warnings where a pattern affects multiple people, and cooperate with legitimate requests from official authorities investigating impersonation of our organization.
