Terms of Service
The terms governing use of FraudGuard Recovery & Cyber Safety, including scope of service, no-guarantee statements, user obligations and limitation of liability.
Last updated: February 2026
1. Who we are
FraudGuard Recovery & Cyber Safety ("FraudGuard", "we", "us") is an independent private organization providing fraud recovery guidance, cyber safety education and evidence organization support.
We are not a law enforcement agency, government body, bank, payment institution, regulator, insurer or law firm, and we have no government affiliation or official authority.
2. Scope of service
We do not act as your agent, do not communicate with institutions on your behalf unless separately and explicitly agreed in writing, and do not handle, hold or transmit your funds.
- Educational information about fraud, scams and cyber safety
- Structured guidance on steps to take after a suspected fraud
- Assistance organizing your own documentation, timeline and evidence index
- Signposting to official reporting bodies, regulators and ombudsman services
3. No guarantee of recovery
We do not guarantee that any funds will be recovered, in whole or in part, and we make no representation about the likelihood, amount or timing of any recovery.
Outcomes depend on the payment method used, elapsed time, the cooperation of third parties, the applicable jurisdiction, and decisions made by banks, regulators, courts and law enforcement. Those decisions are outside our control.
4. Not legal or financial advice
Nothing on this website or provided through our service constitutes legal advice, regulated financial advice, tax advice or investment advice. You should obtain independent professional advice where your circumstances require it.
5. Your obligations
- Provide accurate, truthful and complete information
- Do not submit material you are not lawfully entitled to share
- Do not use our service to harass, defame or unlawfully identify any individual
- Do not send us passwords, PINs, one-time codes, seed phrases, private keys or full card numbers - we will never request them
- Comply with the laws applicable to you
6. Anti-impersonation and verification
Communications from us come only from channels published on this website. If you receive contact claiming to be from FraudGuard that demands upfront payment, credentials or remote access, treat it as fraudulent and report it to us at support@fraudguard-recovery.example.
7. Fees
Where any fee applies to a service, it will be disclosed in writing before you commit to it. We do not charge fees contingent on a guaranteed recovery, and we never ask you to make a payment to 'release', 'unlock' or 'clear' funds.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss arising from decisions made by third parties including banks, platforms, regulators and law enforcement.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Third-party resources
We link to external official resources for convenience. We do not control those sites, are not affiliated with them, and are not responsible for their content or availability.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Questions can be sent to support@fraudguard-recovery.example.
