Cookie Policy
How FraudGuard uses cookies and local storage, what each category is for, and how you can control them in your browser.
Last updated: February 2026
1. What we use
We keep browser storage to the minimum required to operate the service. We do not use advertising cookies and do not sell data collected through storage.
- Strictly necessary: session and authentication storage that keeps you signed in and protects form submissions
- Preferences: small values remembering interface choices you make
- Security: values used to detect abuse and protect the service
2. Authentication storage
When you sign in, your session token is stored in your browser so you can access your dashboard without signing in on every page. Signing out removes it.
3. Analytics
If aggregate analytics are used, they are configured to avoid collecting case content and are never combined with the details of your submission.
4. Managing storage
- You can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings
- Blocking strictly necessary storage will prevent sign-in and case tracking from working
- Using a private window limits storage to that session
